IES (International Education Systems) started operating some 35 years ago. At that time, no real effort was taken to seriously understand the real meaning of internationalization. Things are different now. Whereas everyone understands what Japan needs to do to internationalize, the pace of change is too slow. Japan needs to speed up global integration. Increasingly, young Japanese know this fact. Many young people seek to exchange opinions, share ideas and learn together in an international arena to deepen mutual understanding and friendship. They also seek to become global business leaders. That is the target. We have helped over 1,000 college graduates turn into respectable internationalized adults. We believe it is our utmost mission to continue this effort, now and in future.
